Kotaro Sueyoshi 末吉 光太郎

Kotaro Sueyoshi Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. , Mizuho Bank, Ltd. And Mizuho Trust& Banking Co., Ltd. Managing Director, Advisor to Group Chief Sustainability Officer(Sustainability & Impact) Kotaro has over twenty years of extensive experience in driving corporate banking business growth and strategic initiative across large corporates, international business, and startup & innovation development. Since 2022, Kotaro has taken on the role of Advisor to Group Chief Sustainable Officer and Joint General Manager of the Sustainable Business Promotion Department, where he leads the planning and promotion of sustainable business strategies. Kotaro is regarded as one of the foremost experts on impact finance in Japan. He chairs the Data Index Subcommittee of the Impact Consortium led by Japan FSA. He is also a Committee member of GSG Impact Japan and the Impact-driven Financial Initiative. Kotaro holds an MBA from the Ohio State University Fisher college of Business and Bachelor of Economic from Keio University.

Masataka Uo 鵜尾雅隆

Ambassador ｜GSG Impact / Vice Chair｜GSG Impact Japan National Partner

Masataka UO is the Vice Chair of the Japan National Advisory Board for GSG Impact. As the founding CEO of the Japan Fundraising Association for over 16 years, he has worked to cultivate a culture of giving and impact investment in Japan. The organization has grown into a robust network with thousands of members, fostering collaboration and innovation across nonprofits and social enterprises. His role emphasizes advancing philanthropic strategies, impact investment and management, and legacy and HNWI giving, as well as strengthening the infrastructure for sustainable fundraising and impact-driven initiatives. Additionally, as Vice President of Shizenkan University, Ambassador for the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment, Japan Advisor to AVPN, and Editor-in-Chief of Stanford Social Innovation Review Japan, he contributes to shaping global and domestic impact ecosystems. His leadership is rooted in a commitment to creating systemic change by empowering organizations, developing impact investment markets, and enabling effective fundraising practices. He is passionate about bridging resources and ideas to drive meaningful social change. Aside from serving at the Economic Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, he also worked for Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Vikas Arora

Chief of Impact Investing and Blended Finance, AVPN

As the Chief Impact Investing and Blended Finance Officer, Vikas leads AVPN’s overall strategy and direction of Impact Investing and Blended Finance. This includes driving plans and strategic operations to effectively implement the organization’s impact investing priorities, identifying impact opportunities across AVPN’s four impact focus areas of climate action, gender equality, youth, and health; and fostering strategic partnerships with AVPN members, industry stakeholders, and business partners. As part of AVPN’s leadership team, he contributes to the development of AVPN’s strategic vision. He also looks at operationalizing best practices, including the appropriate integration and collaboration of teams and functional areas to drive sustainable growth. Vikas is regularly invited to speak on the topic of impact investing, having presented at over 15 events in the past year, promoting the importance of the field globally. Prior to joining AVPN, Vikas spent three decades in the banking industry, including 25 years at Deutsche Bank. A believer in pursuing education, Vikas has completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Organisation & Leadership for Social Change at the Singapore University of Social Sciences. Outside of work, Vikas actively contributes to the community as an Independent Board Director (pro bono) for Heartware Network, a non-profit organization in Singapore. He is an avid golfer, a tea aficionado, and an intrepid traveler.

Anthony Gao 高㦤行

Anthony Gao Executive Director for Hong Kong and Regional Partnerships Anthony Gao is the Executive Director for Hong Kong and Regional Partnerships. He brings vast strategic leadership experience in philanthropy, international development and policy from leading global organizations in the private and non-profit sectors to this role. Before joining The Nature Conservancy in 2025, he served as Head of Philanthropy Services, Asia, at Pictet Wealth Management, where he built a platform to support high-net-worth families and family offices in Asia to enhance their philanthropic impact. Prior to that, with a background of management consulting at McKinsey & Co., Anthony spent nearly a decade at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, during which he played leading roles in partnership building, policy advocacy and grantmaking, promoting the development of the philanthropic sector and supporting critical global health and development issues. He then joined UBS AG in Hong Kong, where he expanded philanthropy services and led impactful fundraising initiatives for UBS AG in Greater China. Anthony holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C, specializing in International Development and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Fudan University in Shanghai.

Angel Chia 賈安霈

The Academy aims to foster collaboration, networking, knowledge sharing and talent development amongst family office principals, next-generation wealth owners and private wealth management professionals, with a view to strengthening Hong Kong as a leading global family office hub. Prior to joining the Academy, Angel was the Chair of the Family Office Association Hong Kong, an industry association for professional Family Offices. Angel has accumulated 20+ years of experience in the financial industry, ranging from equity sales & trading to asset & wealth management in Taipei, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore, with Solomon Smith Barney, ABN Amro and BNP Paribas. Angel spent the last decade as a serial entrepreneur. She set up the Singapore subsidiary for Shenwan Hongyuan (000166.CH) and later managed the Chinese firm’s offshore asset management business in Hong Kong and Singapore. She then set up SingAlliance (Hong Kong) as CEO for the Singaporean External-Asset-Manager and was Chief Strategy Officer of Fountainhead Partners. Angel also founded NexGenerator, a family office accelerator that mentors Family Next-Gens to be well-informed principals of their own Family Office structures. 方元沂 Richard Fang

學歷: 美國伊利諾伊大學香檳校區法學博士(Juris Doctor with Magna Cum Laude) 美國波士頓大學法學碩士 中國文化大學法律學系、大眾傳播學系學士（雙學位） 經歷: 曾任中國文化大學教務長 中國文化大學學生事務處學務長 中國文化大學法律系教授兼財經組主任 國立台北大學法學院法律系兼任教授 美國紐約州執業律師(Attorney at Law,New York) 公司法全盤修法委員會社會企業議題負責人 Professor of Law and Dean of the College of Sustainability & Innovation at Chinese Culture University. He received his J.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, graduating magna cum laude. With professional experience at the Office of the State’s Attorney in Illinois and as a commercial lawyer in New York, he later returned to Taiwan to pursue academic research and policy innovation. His scholarship centers on corporate law, financial regulation, ESG, and impact investment. He conducted a six-country comparative legal and policy study on Social Impact Bonds/Pay for Success, supported by the Taiwan Impact Investment Association, offering key insights into how regulatory frameworks can advance social finance. As a researcher on the Company Law Amendment Committee, he contributed to the development of CSR and social enterprise provisions. He has further served as an advisor on Taiwan’s Social Innovation Policy, blockchain development, labor and human rights disclosure, sustainable finance regulation, and cooperative law reform. In higher education, he has championed sustainability by integrating the UN SDGs into university curricula, founding the College of Sustainability & Innovation , and leading interdisciplinary academic programs. He also directed the Ministry of Education’s Phase III University Social Responsibility (USR) initiative, “Beihai Little Heroes,” which linked academic research with local revitalization and sustainability education. Through these efforts, he bridges legal scholarship, policy, and practice, shaping Taiwan’s governance framework for sustainable finance, ESG, and impact investment.

巫慧燕 Francine Wu
